iceryche Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 I moved to Pittsburgh years ago and I think I'm gonna become a Steelers fan. At least the organization tries to win week after week, unlike Ralph and Dick and the loser crew!!!
The Dean Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 So they settle for a 49 yard field goal and automatically assume that they will make it going against the wind? Wow what a bunch of dumba$$es. Â Â 47 Â But, yes.
jad1 Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Anyone else just feel crushed? Â Crushed? Why? This team hired a loser coach who is in love with the worst defensive scheme in the NFL. It's expected, even when playing the most inexperienced QB in the league. Â Know what's crushing? This team use to have Dick Lebeau on its staff, and they let him walk in favor of Jerry Gray. That's fu#ckin' crushing.
BuffalOhio Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 I'm tired of conserv-f$!Cking-tive football. Go for the throat, Dammit! 3 runs to set up a 45 yard field goal. GREAT. Just f$!Cking great. What a joke.
TheChimp Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Just be thankful we didn't spend a ton of money on tickets for that piece of sh-- game and have to drive home after that! Â Â The Bills make me wanna puke! ...tip my head back and puke, throw my arms up and puke..... Â Â Â Catchy.
Frez Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 So they settle for a 49 yard field goal and automatically assume that they will make it going against the wind? Wow what a bunch of dumba$$es. Â Â And that's about it.......................... Â Wide Right jokes anyone?
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 I know ya schmuck. That's what I'm saying. People are bitching about them settling for a 47 yarder when Cleveland won it with a longer one. What a bunch of idiots. I was with ya, don't worry. Sure glad I donned the protective gear. Knew something like this was coming.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 turnover the ball 4 times you wont win against a pop warner team. Edwards has a serious issue of missing wide open receivers not even trying to throw the ball to them. Also we now have played 10 games without a SINGLE play action pass.
Georgia Bill Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Anyone else just feel crushed? crushed, pissed, disgusted, so much like the feeling in the night game w the Cowboys last year. So many times they take you to the brink, thinking you'll (fill in the blank ... win the game, get in the playoffs, finally have a solid offense and defense all year, win the superbowl, make the needed stop) and then WHAM you get f'in suckerpunched in the gut big time. Â Sad thing is, I'll be back next week. Please sir, may I have another
meazza Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 I know ya schmuck. That's what I'm saying. People are bitching about them settling for a 47 yarder when Cleveland won it with a longer one. What a bunch of idiots. Â That commentator. What a jinx. "Does anyone remember the SB where the Bills lost by a FG?"
davefan66 Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Even if we won, it didn't matter. To play at home against the Browns and show up like we did. Â No way we make the playoffs at this point. Â What a wast of a 4-0 start. Â Geez.
billieve420 Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Dammit Mike Tirico jinxed us with all that wide right talk I had a sinking feeling before Lindell's kick attempt. Chicken sh** playing calling to end the game cost us a victory. How about a fake run and screen pass to Marshawn Lynch we were killing them all night with that.
bizell Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 I know ya schmuck. That's what I'm saying. People are bitching about them settling for a 47 yarder when Cleveland won it with a longer one. What a bunch of idiots. Â it's not like cleveland got to the 40 and decided "oh, lets run the ball and set up for the kick". they were PASSING THE BALL DOWN THE FIELD. it just so happens their kicker made his kick.
rockpile Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Man, I would like to B word slap the announcers for bringing up Norwood and wide right just before the kick. I have not been as down after a loss in a while. You would think I would be !@#$ing used to it by now.
KOKBILLS Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 I doubt it. I'm sure most people - myself included - were screaming at the TV to throw the ball and get within a manageable FG distance. Manageable being under 40 yards. Â Exactly...It was kitty Coaching...Especially after Trent made that nice throw...The Kid finally makes a Play downfield and we sit on the Ball for a 47 Yd. FG into the wind...That was asking to lose....
TC in St. Louis Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 It's obvious to me that Trent lost part of his brain function when he took that hit v. Arizona. They need to sit him down till he recovers. He is not okay. Â I have never in my life seen a guy with more time in the pocket who was utterly frightened to throw the ball.
TheChimp Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 I was with ya, don't worry. Sure glad I donned the protective gear. Knew something like this was coming. Yup. With the strong wind at their backs, from the correct hashmark. Bills? Wrong hashmark, 47 yards away into a strong wind.
Ball'n Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 I don't think a single person on this board agreed with running it 3 straight plays. Can the Bills really be that dumb?
MichFan Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 I know ya schmuck. That's what I'm saying. People are bitching about them settling for a 47 yarder when Cleveland won it with a longer one. What a bunch of idiots. Ever hear of the impact wind has on a football? And you're calling other people idiots...

Edwards has a serious issue of missing wide open receivers not even trying to throw the ball to them. Also we now have played 10 games without a SINGLE play action pass. we ran a PA pass, edwards threw it behind Fine on a rollout.
