ofiba Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 We should of went for it and faked the run for a TE scramble. / dreams. Trent would have gotten blown up and fumbled and had it returned for a touchdown. / reality.
BuffaloBill Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 It amazes me that people are surprised by this game management. Jauron himself has said his game-time strategy is to be competitive so you are in a position to win in the last two minutes of the game. Thus: minimize turnovers, play conservative offense, don't give up big plays. This Bills team isn't confusing...it is playing EXACTLY the kind of ball Jauron coaches. Personally, I prefer the "be in a position to win in the FIRST two minutes of the game" strategy, like New England did to the Bills last year. But Jauron didn't ask me. At that point in the game you take points

DC Tom Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Good thing there was no offensive holding on that play...
buckeyemike Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Five, five, five doll-ar foot-looooong... I'm getting punchy. I'm going home now and listening to the Bills broadcast on Sirius on the way home. Bye-bye for now...oops, Jerome Harrison just broke off a long run for a TD.
