murra Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 So you are getting on Bills' management because we drafted a corner when we needed line help, and then you say you would have drafted Rogers-Cromartie or Dustin Keller. You are, by far, retard of the week.
Thurman#1 Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 What has Harvey done? And there isn't always a team that wants to move up. It depends on who is there. Harvey seriously stepped it up the past couple of weeks. You don't think that 1.5 sacks in Week 10, against Favre, wouldn't have helped us?

You are, by far, retard of the week. You want a impact player when drafting in the first half of the round 1, we found a benchwarmer. If we had drafted DRC or Keller, they could of contributed in a much larger way now than Mc K has. We did need to address the lines but having another position actually filled would of been ok as well. What we have right now is someone that is incapable of helping out past a KR, so base not covered / boo to the management.
VOR Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Harvey seriously stepped it up the past couple of weeks. You don't think that 1.5 sacks in Week 10, against Favre, wouldn't have helped us? I think Trent not throwing a pick-six in the redzone would have helped more. And Trent's on the team; Harvey is not.

He's riding the pine because he's not one of the best two cornerbacks on our team yet, not because he's proven himself to be ineffective. He'd be starting if Arizona had drafted him and DRC would be on the bench if the Bills had drafted him. Talk to me in 2 years ok? That's when we can start analyzing this draft.

Has anyone done much of anything yet? So besides DRC, Mayo and Keller, everyone in that entire draft must be a complete bust 10 weeks into the season, right?
murra Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 just a reminder- think before you post KR for touchdown, 2 INT's (one for TD) in 2 weeks.
Max997 Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 The only way we can get our team straight is to make sure they're focused on the goal at hand, winning. Getting the help in here to do it is going to end up being the key. So far, we are lacking key components. and you think posting on a message board is going to do that?
SKOOBY Posted November 27, 2008 Author Posted November 27, 2008 and you think posting on a message board is going to do that? Never know who you are going to touch until you do.

Stenbar Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Damn Skoobs you messed this one up on two threads you started..LOL...I think you have just set a new record on The wall for the fastest foot in mouth threads started in their history of posting on the Wall...Lay off th skooby snacks for awhile
lets_go_bills Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 I like our draft picks at one and two. McKelvin has barely played but he should great ability against KC. Hardy is quite young and unpolished but is quite big and athletic. He will get better with each year. Besides, you can't judge a draft until about four years down the road.
BuffaloBill Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 So you are getting on Bills' management because we drafted a corner when we needed line help, and then you say you would have drafted Rogers-Cromartie or Dustin Keller. You are, by far, retard of the week. Damn I lost my title
marauderswr80 Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 There are alot of other players that I would of rather had on the Bills than Leodis. 1 Miami Long, Jake OT --------Very good OL 2 St. Louis Long, Chris DE -------Dont hear anything about him 3 Atlanta Ryan, Matt QB -------Solid QB, but we already have one 4 Oakland McFadden, Darren RB --------Injury prone thus far 5 Kansas City Dorsey, Glenn DT ---------Run all over him last weekend 6 NY Jets Gholston, Vernon DE -------- Have hardly seen him play other then special teams 7 New Orleans Ellis, Sedrick DT -------- Hey made a tackle for a loss the other night 8 Jacksonville Harvey, Derrick DE -------held out for a while and still no production 9 Cincinnati Rivers, Keith LB --------out for the year getting him by a WR 10 New England Mayo, Jerod OLB -------Solid LB, but again we were set at that position back then 11 Buffalo McKelvin, Leodis CB ---------Game changer....... 12 Denver Clady, Ryan OT --------Dont hear much of him, not sure if he starts or what 13 Carolina Stewart, Jonathan RB --------- Decent RB should carry the team a while, another position we didnt need. 14 Chicago Williams, Chris OT ---------I believe this guy is done for the year? 15 Kansas City Albert, Branden OG -------Buffalo's front gave him problems, NUFF SAID 16 Arizona Rodgers-Cromartie, Dominique CB -------Still a decent corner, having an ok year 17 Detroit Cherilus, Gosder OT ------0-11 and their QB gets decked every snap 18 Baltimore Flacco, Joe QB -------showing signs of promise, again another position we didnt need 19 Carolina Otah, Jeff OT -------- Dont hear much of him 20 Tampa Bay Talib, Aqib CB ------- Done for the year aswell I believe. 21 Atlanta Baker, Sam OT --------- he might be done as well, not sure 22 Dallas Jones, Felix RB -------Done for the year 23 Pittsburgh Mendenhall, Rashard RB -------Done for the year 24 Tennessee Johnson, Chris RB --------Solid RB, but we didnt have a need for him 25 Dallas Jenkins, Mike CB -------Not sure if he starting yet again. 26 Houston Brown, Duane OT --------Dont hear much of him either. 27 San Diego Cason, Antoine CB -------SD one of the worst teams that defend the pass 28 Seattle Jackson, Lawrence DE -------- Done nothing all year 29 San Francisco Balmer, Kentwan DE -------we'll know more Sunday about this guy 30 NY Jets Keller, Dustin TE ------The only guy on this list id like to have more then McKelvin 31 NY Giants Phillips, Kenny FS ------Would have been a nice fit in Buffalo So out of all 31 teams, there are 2 people I would have taken over McKelvin, Dustin Keller or Kenny Phillips. I guess you can argue about the OL in this draft class, due to the fact our OL has been so so as of late. But back in this draft we didnt think Jason Peters would hold out and we all thought the OL was solid and we thought DE was solid as well. But Id like to know what players you thought we could have had better then McKelvin? Its easy to sit here and say hey would could have had him and so forth, but fact of the matter is back then our weakness was CB......now we see our other weaknesses......
