Coach Tuesday
I am not saying Jauron is a good coach or isn't a good coach. Go ahead and debate that until you're blue in the face. But to speculate about whether or not he'll be fired, and who his possible replacements should be (April, Cower, Darth Vader), is a total waste of time and bandwith. You're better off looking at porn - it's closer to reality than Jauron being canned.
Captain Quint
[/b] Perhaps an I.Q. screening test is in order.. I agree it is worth discussing. But only if you are an idiot, like Chandler pointed out above. In fact, it does take a very high IQ to clap your hands together and repeat the refrain, "Everythings gunna be alright, rock a bye." Wow that was really intelligent. You proved your IQ there. What would you rather discuss? I look at all of these stupid posts on this forum, everything from people talking about Edwards already being a failure and Losman maybe should take over (the same people who argued the reverse a year ago), I read about how Lynch maybe isn't that good, or how Peters should be "fired" if that makes sense. But it is somehow ignorant to discuss the worth of Jauron as a head coach? People are being coy about discussing a head coach or even better, the overall mentality of a mediocre franchise? That is bull sh--.

We are not debating past events, but are certainly would like to discuss the merits or lack thereof of continuing with him as a HC of the Bills. This is certainly a very worthy discussion considering the patterns of under-performance and injuries that we have been seeing. As of right now, with uneven results through this season, there is no way to say whether firing him is a reality or fantasy. Should not stop anyone from discussing it, despite what you think. If you do not like those discussions, you are free not to participate in or read those threads.

Ed_Formerly_of_Roch
Well he could be a great, well respected leader, just not a strong player. Ouside the locker room, no one know the answer. you don't have ot be the best or one of the best players to be a captain. If you look at high performing players often they fail as coaches as they expect similar performance from others and they can't relate to lower level players. I realize being a captain is different, but not that different that it doesn't still apply here. "like team captain Chris Kelsay," that's a great point right there. With leaders like that is there any wonder why they falter?

AJ1
The 'fantasy' is believing Jauron is going to lead this team to anything but mediocrity. Keeping a coach that has alienated about 50% and climbing of the fan base is really intelligent. It's always a minority that first recognizes severe organizational problems that eventually becomes a consensus. Ralph and his apologists can stick their head in the ground all they please. I choose not to join them.

OCinBuffalo
So those of you bitching at the OP, let me ask you: Is he wrong that we have 20 threads talking about the same thing?-> NO. In fact, I haven't been in a week or so and I have never seen this amount of repetitive nonsense tolerated. It begs the question? Where are the Mods? Is he wrong about the fact that Jauron isn't going anywhere?-> NO. So what's the point? Oh, that's right, I forgot: bitching for the sake of bitching, especially amongst the newbs here. Although, the usual "Bills suck at everything" posters aren't as conspicuous, perhaps they have been drowned out? Or, perhaps they are absent because they won't get the attention their ridiculous positions typically afford them with all the new whiners running around? And finally, is he wrong about the fact that this is the same guy who has us a winning record? respected around the league? and all the rest? -> NO. So we lost 3 games in a row. That's going to happen with a young team. It doesn't mean it's chicken little time, although I know it's so very tempting for some of you. It'll be interesting to see what happens after we win the next 3 games. That's right I said it. We are going 3-0. Let's face it: we are going to beat the Browns, Chiefs and 49ers. Then we will see what's what around here. My guess is there will be a whole of explaining to do when we are alone in 1st again at 8-4. This whole thing reminds me of the Angelo Crowell posts at the beginning of the season, um, then we went 4-0.
Adam
It is always nice, and much easier to blame the head coach. That justifies saying that you are good enough to win, making one change....simple and painless. Bad news- that isn't the case! Our offensive line stinks. Our defensive line stinks....and because of that, our team stinks. You don't scheme away bad lines and end up with anything better than mediocre. This team needs a massive overhaul. We haven't had Aaron Schobel for weeks, and he is our only football player listed as a DE- and he is getting older. We are also thin at DT. Brad Butler shows promis it guard, and Dockery it pretty good, but Folwler lives up to his name- he fowls everything up. He is terrible. Walker is adequate at best. This team was not put together well and can't win no matter who coaches or QB's it

This whole thing reminds me of the Angelo Crowell posts at the beginning of the season, um, then we went 4-0. I don't have any problem w/ him pointing out that there's numerous posts on a particular topic. I have the same problem basically every offseason: too much emphasis on trivial crap. What do I do? I just look to other forums such as the college football forum or the sim league. I don't take the "I don't wanna discuss this, so nobody can/should discuss this" frame of mind. There's gonna be ranting and raving from pissed off fans, especially fans of a team working on a full decade of missing the playoffs. No degree of whining 'bout it will change that. I suggest to those who don't like it to find another forum. Or, they could just take the radical step of ignoring the posts/threads they find offensive.
