Any thoughts about maybe trying to grab him in a trade with Jville, could be a good stop gap if we can put him on the strong side or weak side and could prob get him for cheap? any thoughts

My thoughts are that we aren't trading for anything or anyone. Not because we don't need them, but because the trade deadline has long passed. Remember the day we didn't get Tony Gonzalez? T hat was it.

If he is released, he is fair game. We could sign him outright and not have to worry about trading. If, however, Jerksonville doesn't release him, he is there for the duration of the season.

I think I read the same article, however I took it as the Jags would just deactivate him ala the Eagles and Terrell Owens. He is however in the last year of his contract so I guess an outright release wouldn't be out of the question.

I have been keeping my eye on his situation. I actually think he is an exception to the way the Bills do business, meaning he might actually be a guy they would bring in mid-season to help.
