zow2 Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Nice KO return for td by SF to open the game. They should play the SuperBowl in Glendale, AZ every year. The stadium looks great on TV...it's bright and the turf looks really good. Besides, Phoenix is a nice vacation place and there is no threat of rain at that stadium.
49er Fan Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Bills fans think they have QB problems....
Guest three3 Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 did you see that stupid call on the pass by the 49ers? the guy got his feet in, then dragged his body across the out of bounds line and lost control of hte ball after his body had been out of bounds and it is reviewed, ruled a no-catch-WHAT? another example of the nfl rulebook kicking its own ass, another example of a rule that should be amended for out of bounds situations
bizell Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 arizona looked like world beaters on offense against us.. and of course, they look like egg beaters against arizona. sigh.
Dan Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 I'd love to see the Bills start with 5 or 6 consecutive runs next week as well.
Steely Dan Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 For what I thought was going to be an incredible smackdown by Arizona is actually looking like a great game!

Besides, the NFL would never have to worry about a Superbowl team having home field advantage that way!
West End Stench Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 I'd love to see the Bills start with 5 or 6 consecutive runs next week as well. Call me crazy, but with the way we run the ball a turnover on downs and a 3rd and 10 do not sound that great to me...

It's not about winning the opening drive, it's about winning the game. We need, disparately, to establish a more physical identity and to give Lynch more carries. You can't do that with 14 carries in a game.
zow2 Posted November 11, 2008 Author Posted November 11, 2008 49ers QB Sean Hill getting his helmet ripped off and still chugging and leaping for a 1st down was the coolest image i've seen in the NFL this year. Good stuff!

VOR Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Uh oh, look for Vernon Davis to get tossed-out by Singletary again.
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Uh oh, look for Vernon Davis to get tossed-out by Singletary again. What's he up to this time?
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 I think he just gained a lot of respect from Singletary! Probably gained even more respect with 2 TD and 0 INT...O Sullivan is sitting on the bench wondering how that statline is even possible.
KD in CA Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 What's he up to this time? He just made a sensational TD catch.....but got an unsportsmanlike penalty for taking off his helmet. I think Singletary will take that trade.
VOR Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Probably gained even more respect with 2 TD and 0 INT...O Sullivan is sitting on the bench wondering how that statline is even possible. Sadly after the past 3 weeks, Trent is wondering the same thing as well.
KD in CA Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Oh, there's Nate....getting a late hit penalty.
Guest three3 Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 it is not that hard to prove that in NFL games with evenly matched squads the refs will determine who wins a large percentage of the time
