Chuckknox Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 Then move him around in different formations. What happened to running a reverse a few times a game to Fred or Roscoe??
marauderswr80 Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 To hell with the reverses.........Flea flicker anyone?
Captain Hindsight Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 We need to run the ball more. im tired of seeing this spread shotgun when the d can just pin their ears back and tee off on the o line and trent JMO
Big Turk Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 this formation in theory SHOULD create some big mismatches for the Bills---Parrish on a 3rd CB or safety and Jackson or Lynch on a LB....obviously something is not right here because neither one of those matchups should be lost by the Bills as frequently as they are....
YOOOOOO Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 I've said it before....but every week we go along...we see Jackson/Lynch in the same package less and less.... and its driving me crazy right now
Trader Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 Then move him around in different formations. What happened to running a reverse a few times a game to Fred or Roscoe?? More Fred Jackson on the field in any capacity is a good idea. Get more playmakers on the field!
Lofton80 Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 Not a bad idea. We seem very predictable right now.
whaler Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 More Fred Jackson on the field in any capacity is a good idea. Get more playmakers on the field! The wildcat doesnt work to well if you never throw it BTW Lee Evans was awesome today
apuszczalowski Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 The wildcat doesnt work to well if you never throw it BTW Lee Evans was awesome today Did he play? I don't think I saw him out there? I always wonder how they could pay a guy $9 million, and only throw it to him 4-5 times a game. TO gets 20 passes and still complains he's not getting it enough!
robkmil Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 Then move him around in different formations. What happened to running a reverse a few times a game to Fred or Roscoe?? I'd love some creativity. Could Parrish be our Welker? Or is he not that good?
robkmil Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 The wildcat doesnt work to well if you never throw it BTW Lee Evans was awesome today WTF did you want Evans to do? he was draped all over. Other people need to step it up.
whaler Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 WTF did you want Evans to do? he was draped all over. Other people need to step it up. Sorry, its more of the system than Lee personnally To bad you couldnt use that excuse for Moss or Welker. Lee looked about as competent as Jabar Gaffney at best.
whaler Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 I'd love some creativity. Could Parrish be our Welker? Or is he not that good? The difference is that Edwards hits Royal & Parrish in the flat while they are standing still. Welker is typically always on the move and getting a blocker, its an actual play. Our version is to see if Lee gets a good jump, then check down to Royal for a 4 yard gain. Classic Bills offense.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Then move him around in different formations. What happened to running a reverse a few times a game to Fred or Roscoe?? I've said this before too-- Jackson is the best replacement for Reed. Her doesn't even need to be in the slot all the time; line him up as FB, RB, TE, whatever. We have playmakers--need to get them more involved. There are other creative ways to run the football.
