muffmonster Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 Obviously some poor officiating yesterday and it all went the Pats way. It didn't make a difference in the outcome of the game though. Once again this week it took everyone in the Bills organization working to lose this game. Edwards had two interceptions, only 60 yard rushing, defense allowing 9+ min drive, and Dick limp wristing the challenge on the sidelines.
Jon in Pasadena Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 He needs to weight it and throw it at a Zebra. Maybe they can borrow Billy Buffalo's T-shirt gun and shoot it to the Zebra. He needs to tie it onto a crossbow bolt and staple the thing to Walt "Just Give it to Them" Coleman's !@#$ing chest.
reddogblitz Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 This case illustrates the stupidity of NFL's instant replay system. The reason behind it is to get the calls right. Right? Well here's a case where a call was flat out missed. But the only person that can question it is the head coach who has probably the worst vantage point of anyone to see this stuff. So, he has to talk to someone who is by a TV to see the replay on TV and then radio back down to him to throw the flag all within 20 seconds or so. Then he has to throw it to where the ref can see it. STUPID. So what happened was an obvious bad call was let stand. The NFL should go to a system like college has where they review every play and can stop the game if they need further review. The NFL rule us just plain dumb. Dumb as dirt.
todd Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 How many refs on the field Todd? It is Jauron's job to make sure it is seen come hell or high water. It is not any refs job to watch the HC to see if he needs anything. Throw the damn beanie and hit one of 'em if you have to. No, I'm serious. There's a ref assigned to watch for the flag. It may be surprising to you, but I am actually not an idiot.

They weren't down two scores until the 4th quarter. The game hung on a knife edge a number of times, and one bad call on 3rd down can lead to a score.
