John from Riverside Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 Does anybody else think that ball DID go off the Ravens leg on the punt....but the refs didn't reverse their call....I mean....HOW DIFFICULT WAS THAT TO CALL...THE FRIGGEN BALL CHANGED ITS DIRECTORY What does everybody think of Drew just walking off the field at the half.....leaving his team out there.......
bills_fan Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 Being at the game & seeing the giant replay on the Jumbo tron, I think the refs got the call right. As to Bledsoe walking off...,what do you expect.
gantrules Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 There wasn't any conclusive evidence. The ball didn't change directions. It was the right call. They should have caught up to him.
John from Riverside Posted October 25, 2004 Author Posted October 25, 2004 Oh an addition to that...did anybody else notice they ran that stopwatch on that Bledsoe sack.....complaining he doesn't get enough time.... AND THE FRIGGEN THING STOPPED AT 4.3 SECONDS
Gavin in Va Beach Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 What does everybody think of Drew just walking off the field at the half.....leaving his team out there....... 85146 Noticed that too. Means stick a fork in him, he's done.
mary owen Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 'What does everybody think of Drew just walking off the field at the half.....leaving his team out there......." maybe he was expecting Losman to carry it for him and JP said "no way. I might get Loser Cooties" immature Rook
Cutting Drew With Dignity Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 I liked when the pass hit Josh Reed in the knee. Put that guy on the all hands team.

They should have caught up to him. 85151 It sure looked like it changed directions to me.... and the commentators.... and the coaches upstairs.... only the refs and the ravens saw it differently. o well.
Alaska Darin Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 I liked when the pass hit Josh Reed in the knee. Put that guy on the all hands team. 85210 Another piss poorly thrown ball in a game and tenure filled with them.
Mark VI Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 They must have showed that replay 6 times and I couldn't conclude that it hit the players leg. I can't get upset with that call. We're grabbing at straws.

YOOOOOO Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 Footballs aren't round, they can take funny hops, I didn't think it was conclusive and wasn't surprised or upset at the call... 85277 Funny Hops in mid air?? Is this the magic ball theory??
eSJayDee Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 As for the punt, from my perspective it was inconclusive either way. i.e. since it was called a no-touch, they weren't about to overturn the original call. As for Bledsoe just walking off the field, either a) he's a leader & is showing the troops the way to go, or B) he realized the futility of staying on the field & trying to score.
