billygoats Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 I don't understand why we didn't have to do a re-kick. I thought if the ball doesnt go ten yards the kicking team gets to kick it again.
TheChimp Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Way to get all fired up over a meaningless onside kick, coaching staff. You might try showing a little passion in the first quarter, rather than waiting until the game is over. To his credit, Bobby April gets fired up all game long. It's his methadone addict coach Jauron who can't seem to wake up for a game.

ajflutie Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 guys, the onside kick call is the least of this teams problems
Tcali Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Well, most of us were saying we are a year away....again Well I know we are all glad that Dick played it safe for the first 3 QTRs
bizell Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 if we touched it before 10 yds, it'd have been a penalty - they must have changed their mind who recovered teh onside kick.
QB Bills Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 a bills player touched it first, so stop whining what an embarrassment this team is whoever is responsible for this chicken sh-- playcalling (on both sides of the ball) needs to go
Dan Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Just reviewed the kick.... it did indeed hit a Bills player first. Looked like #37. But it hit his the back of his hand as he we going down to block Bruschi. Story of the game I guess.
Tcali Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 I don't understand why we didn't have to do a re-kick. I thought if the ball doesnt go ten yards the kicking team gets to kick it again. wrong
John Adams Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Awesome point. Again, Jauron asleep at the wheel. I believe they changed that rule last year. It can be declined now. In any event, #38 for the Bills touched it with his hand. I watched all the replays in TiVo and the one from behind the Pats shows his left hand hitting the ball (not intentionally--he didn't see it) before it gets to Bruschi). Who cares? The game was over.
billygoats Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 if we touched it before 10 yds, it'd have been a penalty - they must have changed their mind who recovered teh onside kick. I think the refs said the bills touched it first and then gave it to the pats. I think they blatantly called it wrong, not that it mattered, but it would be nice to see the game officiated appropriatley. I don't understand why it seems most refs in the league are around retirement age, it is no wonder there are so many mistakes made.
Ned Flanders Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 We all know the Bills gave up today. My only question... when? Was it on the first drive of the game? Or was it on the plane trip over? It was over when DJ didn't challenge the Welker non-catch...someone early here compared lifeless Dick to Jeff Fisher, where Fisher would run down the sideline to throw the red flag, Dick drops it at his feet. Compared to the other challenges Dick has called, and lost, this one looked like a gimme. He blew it. The game was over after the Cassell TD.
Cash Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Can't wait for the quotes this week: "Hey, we're 5-4, and that's pretty good, especially compared to what everyone was saying about us before the season."

Realist Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Time to go 8-4 with the crap teams on our schedule. Yeah, right. Bills will win next week because of the raucous crowd and maybe beat the 49ers, and thats about it.
SABURZFAN Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Time for an ass beating today eh? ask and you shall receive.
SABURZFAN Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Time to go 8-4 with the crap teams on our schedule. this team will be lucky to win 8 games this year.
KOKBILLS Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Time to go 8-4 with the crap teams on our schedule. If they don't figure out a way to Run the Ball better it will be 5-7... 90 Rushing Yards in the last 2 Games combined...209 in the last 3... We have a problem...
SKOOBY Posted November 9, 2008 Author Posted November 9, 2008 this team will be lucky to win 8 games this year. You called that early this year.
