WVUFootball29 Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Take Whittle out fixed the title for you since he's causing many more problems than Peters at this point
bills4sb Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 After watching the game again Peters was not the issue. Yes he had one false start penalty but lets face it Whittle is not a very good backup, i mean he just gets dominated. And Dockery has been no all star either.
LabattBlue Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 And Dockery has been no all star either. Maybe Dockery lost some motivation to excel the day he signed the big contract?
bills4sb Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Maybe Dockery lost some motivation to excel the day he signed the big contract? Seems like it cause on the 1st INT by Edwards I watched Jenkins just move him out of the way, rush edwards, cuase an early ill advised throw and 7 points for the enemy. He must pick up his game.
nemhoff Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 I think that the line should be held accountable for their mistakes, but the past few games the turnovers, dropped passes, and inability to get off the field on 3rd down has killed us.
santoro770 Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 we need to take him out and swich the line back to where we were while he was holding out they were awsome when he came back it went to sh-- Easy on that - remember we played Seattle with a makeshift line. I don't mind Walker on the left side, but with our injuries that still leaves us with Whittle on the right side and....well, no one to fill in for Walker.
Fan in Chicago Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Easy on that - remember we played Seattle with a makeshift line. I don't mind Walker on the left side, but with our injuries that still leaves us with Whittle on the right side and....well, no one to fill in for Walker. With our dearth of quality depth, we do not have the luxury to 'sit' anyone and certainly not Peters given your observations.
John Adams Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Peters is the Bills best lineman, which is like being the tallest Lilliputian. Still, you can't bench him.
Cugalabanza Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Take Peters out Dancing? To a nice steak dinner? Out on the town? For a few drinks and then back to your place? He needs to be in there on Sunday.
generaLee83 Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 we need to take him out and swich the line back to where we were while he was holding out they were awsome when he came back it went to sh-- The best performance from the O-line this season has been without Peters. I am not opposed to the idea at all. I would bench him and let the rest of the team know that their jobs are not safe at all.
R. Rich Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Who started this thread, Opie and Anthony? Disgusting.
SKOOBY Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Who started this thread, Opie and Anthony? Disgusting. How you been RR??
BillnutinHouston Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Peters is the Bills best lineman, which is like being the tallest Lilliputian. Still, you can't bench him. Lilliputian = good reference
WellDressed Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 fixed the title for you since he's causing many more problems than Peters at this point Take em both behind the woodshed.
Shamrock Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 Still, you can't bench him. [/quote ...is that a dare?
NicholasCal1 Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 the bills need a pro bowl center. then watch the line take over.
