billfan63 Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 "The white House has been closely monitoring the federal response to the storm. A response judged inadequate by Florida voters could result in them taking their frustrations out on Bush on Nov 2." Its a good thing a non battleground state wasn't hit.
erynthered Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 Relief from Charley's wrath has been happening faster than Andrew's relief. The path of the hurricane hit predominantly republican County's. !.5 million now have power. FEMA, has been acting quite rapidly, along with the Red Cross and Insurance company's. School's have been opening. Regardless of how fast things get back to any normalcy, some will still be pissed. Afterall, it's Jeb Bush's falt the !@#$ing hurricane hit us, right? Living here in Florida is always an adventure.
