BUFFALOTONE Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/story/11085492 He is in the last year of his contract and would look to cash in. Could be a fill in for Crow when he departs. Still a relatively young and solid LB. I am not saying grab him now! But it wouldnt hurt to have a look see. Plus we are pretty beat up now and a healthy vet presence cant hurt.
bills_fan Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 He knows our D as well, having been in Indy for years. Why not take a look?
MattyT Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 Not released (yet)....just dismissed from the team. Great player when healthy.
ACor58 Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 We could use some LB depth - with DiGio and now Mitchell being injured.

Pete Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 Peterson would be a great fit on our D. And we could certainly use the help
K-Gun10 Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 Scobol goes to Ir bring this guy in to take Ellison spot then we have sum sort of depth i like.
bizell Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 i dunno how much mike pete has left in the tank, but he definitely has attitude and he's been a very solid performer for jax.
marauderswr80 Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 Peterson would be one of the best LB's on the team. Honestly, I think hes better then Mitchell and very close to being better then Poz.
John from Riverside Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 throw them a late draft pick and getter done
marauderswr80 Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 and the article didnt say they let him go, it only said he was sent home from practice.
jwws9999 Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 Peterson would be one of the best LB's on the team. Honestly, I think hes better then Mitchell and very close to being better then Poz. why does everyone think poz is any good. he either misses tackles or makes tackles 5 yards down the field. big woop
/dev/null Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 throw them a late draft pick and getter done You are aware that the trade deadline has already passed?
/dev/null Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 and the article didnt say they let him go, it only said he was sent home from practice. Good point And I don't think they'll cut him either. This move was akin to putting a dunce cap on him and forcing him to sit in the corner
BigPappaPump Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 why does everyone think poz is any good. he either misses tackles or makes tackles 5 yards down the field. big woop reminds you of Lonon Fletcher I guess
LabattBlue Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Holy lack of reading comprehension Batman!
marauderswr80 Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 why does everyone think poz is any good. he either misses tackles or makes tackles 5 yards down the field. big woop Peterson would go well with Poz & Mitchell.
Gotta Dream Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Could he play DE? Kind of like a Bryce Paup type? Haven't seen him play....
