T-Bone
Our site heads made a bet about the World Series that was reported in our internal intranet paper. St. Louis site head bet a case of Michelob vs our site's case of Sam Adams on the winner of the World Series. Michelob? Is that the best freaking beer that they got in St. Louis? Our site head was gracious enough to offer the case of Michelob to be given away to a "lucky" employee via a drawing. Sorry, but Da Boneman will pass. Thurman's Helmet
I'd rather take a case of Budweiser than Michelob. Isnt St. Louis known for its Ribs? Why not a Ribs for Lobster bet or something like that?

We are the first line of research that identifies compounds for future development. As the first line, we get to see a lot of heartache when what appears to be great looking drugs, are killed by toxicology screens.

I saw more of the sales force, less of the brains behind the operatons there. I wish I could have joined the technology staff though. Oh well. ExiledInIllinois
Sam Adams? Freaking Sam Adams? Is that same Koch family that brewed Koch's (remember Koch's out of Dunkirk... I think?)... Didn't they try and do the "No Name" beer also... Remember the yellow cases that just said BEER? WTF... Somebody enlighten me and tell me that I am wrong. I thought that was brewed in Cincinnati? Don't know where I heard that? On the other hand, didn't Miller and Bud put the small local breweries under early on? When the micro-brews came back in vogue, I guess it was too late? Good, yet man did it form a rock in my stomach... I must have ate too much! Believe it or not, seafood digests quickly... Took long walk down too Hampton Beach and a large order of greasy fries to cure what ailed me... Maybe next time I wouldn't go for the third one!!
