DanInSouthBuffalo Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 A 3rd round pick in 2006. 6-2, 215. Had 29 catches last year-21 for 1st downs. Maybe not much different than we have on the roster. His $445k base salary is attractive though. Any takers with Reed out?

DanInSouthBuffalo Posted November 5, 2008 Author Posted November 5, 2008 Actually yes i would be interested in that.... unless there was some reason he was released? They say it's a numbers game---he only has three catches. Ernest Wilford has also been inactive quite a few games for the Fins. Others have stepped up and the current staff didn't draft him.
Wilson from Gamehendge Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 being a follower of ASU football and having a friend who is a Fins fan...I would say, "HELL YES" bring him in. I really think with the right coaching and system, he would be a stud. Might even be an upgrade over Reed.
K-Gun10 Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 A little birdie tells me they did this to make room for soon to be released DeAngelo Hall.
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 No offense intended, but it seems like whenever a player on any NFL team is released, somebody wants the Bills to pick that player up. There is usually a reason that a player is released, and it usually has something to do with their ineffectiveness at their position.
DanInSouthBuffalo Posted November 5, 2008 Author Posted November 5, 2008 A little birdie tells me they did this to make room for soon to be released DeAngelo Hall. That would be awesome. Have the Fins actually watched him play? Two words---burnt toast.
Nostradumbass Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 YEESSSSSS!!! Get it done now.....wait...who?
quikchomp Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 I've followed the Dolphins a lot the past couple years living down here. Hagan has a lot of the characteristics that make up a solid No. 2 or 3 NFL WR...except for his propensity to drop balls. I've barely heard anything about him this year, but his first years he always seemed to be getting criticized for his drops. Maybe whoever helped Reed with his drops can work some magic with Hagan.

Yes, we wouldn't want Royal to feel so lonely in the dropped-ball department. Seriously, if he drops a lot of passes, leave him be -- just can't afford to have guys like that. Reed has certainly worked out, but it was sort of a lengthy project. Need a guy who can step right in, but those kinds of guys are just not available this time of year.
