swede316
What is funny is that one of Mc Cain best score is in Venezuela!Maybe they figured he was their best shot at getting rid of Chavez. Britbillsfan
Not really surprising on a few counts. GWB's record diplomatically is a bit of a disaster (to put it mildly) and he has managed to get a lot of people normally friendly towards the US to be quite hostile. Secondly this sort of thing is more likely to be 'voted' upon by the young, who traditionally are more left leaning than older generations. Not too many pensioners who will go to this site and vote for their man... Finally Palin. Whilst there would be many people who would be willing to vote McCain in an election outside of the US there would be precious few who would take a chance of having her as the vice president one (lack of) heartbeat away from the most important position in the world, especially given McCain's age. Yeah, that's basically it. Their vote is like asking, "Why Iraq & not us? We're closer and more vital."
