Roof will be closed guys, the building is not winterized. It can't handle rain or snow and would cause issues with the interior. heck, the roof is usually closed in July!!!

Uhm, do you really think they will open the dome when the game is ultimately a corporate schmooze fest for Rodgers to entertain? You can get the city of Buffalo to sign, it ain't happening...Besides, Miami seems better suited to win in the cold than us with the running and controlled passing game...I think pennington is well adjusted to cold weather.

How about we try to not turn it over and hang some points on them? Maybe a game plan? Hhhhhm , let's petition the Bills to put some pressure on the QB, maybe give Lynch 20-25 carries a game...that would be more effective than trying to play God with the weather....

NFL league rule states that the league needs to know 90 minutes before kickoff if a roof will be open or not. They talked about it in the Pats Colts game. Colts had the roof open for the game......

can't be done.

They seal the dome for winter as the roof is not 100% airtight. Once the seal is in place for the winter they cannot re-open the roof without removing the winter seal first.

it would be sweet to have the dome open, but our team has shown it can not play in the sun or snow for that matter.

and if only a petition started in the usa could be used against canadian interests, that would be great

So if the bills move to toronto, they won't even get to play outside? WTF!

ummm...whats the advantage to keeping it open? and please dont say that its because our california running back and quarterback are better in the snow

Um...the advantage to keeping the dome open is making a team from southern florida play in the cold weather. When we go to miami we have to endure the hot humit temps, we need to make them suffer through the cold. Its not about weather or not our players are built for the snow...they play for buffalo, they need to get used to this. It is about the NFL screwing buffalo and taking a divisional game to the great white north and putting it in a neutral site. How can a divisional game be played in a neutral site? IT IS BS and we need to stand up for it.

You have got to be kidding. Here is the breakdown of the starting lineups and cold vs. warm colleges they played for:

Cold/Warm

Bills Offense: 4/7

Miami Offense: 5/6

Advantage: Miami

Bills Defense: 6/5

Miami Defense: 6/5

Advantage: Push

Bills Special Teams: 2/0

Miami Special Teams: 2/0

Advantage: Push

Following your lahjik, Miami should win if they opened up the dome.

To say the weather is going to make a difference is idiotic. Just because players play for Buffalo/Miami does not mean that they played college in the same environment. Also, in the era of free agency, the weather issue is moot. This is not even including high school ball.
