Notice I didn't assume either candidate would win - just searching for the personal perspective here.

For example: celebrate, kick the dog, blather about how this is a sign of the upcoming apocalypse, buy stock in AIG, immigrate, etc.

I know more than a few folks who are planning to celebrate, and others who will say Americans are idiots.

The cynical side of me recalls the Who song "meet the new boss" but knows that it will NOT be the same as the old boss

Go to class preparing to see a display of serious celebration if Obama wins, or sorrow faces if McCain wins.

 

Of course, if McCain wins I'll probably be all smiles.

Change the air filter, flush the water supply, clean the generator and reinforce the hatch yet again on my family's bunker.

I was thinking the classic rich guy, slow, baritone laugh would go nicely there, but that's hard to convey via text. Kinda like a cross between an arrogant Santa and Kevin Kline in A Fish Called Wanda.
