Bear
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=1908871 Utah is the most entertaining Offensive team in College football. 84428 They would be nuts not to hire Spurrier. The guy is a god around there, and it would pump up recruitment the second he was hired. He failed in the NFL, but he was great as a college coach. Florida is a very young team, with a ton of potential. Spurrier can get them on the right track, and I would love to see what he does with Leak. Lori
According to Woody Paige on "Cold Pizza" this morning, his "sources close to Spurrier" told him Stevie Superior IS interested, and a deal probably gets done. Paige, at least, can be mildly amusing at times. Skip Bayless is still terrible....

Rich
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=1908871 Utah is the most entertaining Offensive team in College football. 84428 Told ya so! I've been talking up Utah to anyone who will listen. They're a good team. Not a dominant team, but a really good one. I still don't believe Meyer is ready to leave just yet. Mark VI
Spurrier said no... so now the search begins for someone who will make a long term commitment to Gainsville. I would think the favorites now would be Bob Petrino of Louisville and maybe Jeff Tedford of Cal, although I believe Petrino would be the front runner. Petrino is familiar with recruiting in Florida ( has 23 Florida players on his team ) and was an Asst. Coach in the SEC ( Auburn ). Tedford is a great recruiter anywhere and has the Pro-style offense the Gators like, much like Petrino. Meyer has the connection with the Florida AD but has no real recruiting connections in Florida. Lori
They were talking about the potential of Petrino-to-UF on the broadcast of the Louisville game last night, Mark....
