The Bills had early success this year as they took some of their competition by surprise. The AZ game showed other tema - harrass Edwards, enough and he does crack a bit. On defense, they shined a bright light on the fact that the Bills LB corp lines up very tight to the line of scrimmage, making them susceptable to the short slant. What they drop off of this we are easily taken for 5 yards a pop on the run. It's an easy read for the opposing QB's to make and it has worked against us with much regularity.

On offense, we are doing nothing to keep the opposing defense off bal;ance enough to mitigate the blitzing - opponents almost get to pin the ears back from the opening gun... I think the team has the weapons to fight this, but they need to be coached up. On defense - the lack of a bonified stud on the DL will prevent them from being any more that an average D week in and week out.

If anyone wants to place "blame" on this early test of the Organization, the coaching staff comes first, (lack of read/react ability and planning) and the personnel man/men. Need better tools on Defense....
