Rome is by far the best sports commentator on TV or radio today - period.

 

He is the ONLY one that will tell you what's on his mind, and not feed you the company (ESPN, CBS, etc) line...  and often times i agree with him..

 

the best one i have heard in a while:

 

caller: "hey rome, i have a few points. first, i wanted to say that the reasons americans do not like soccer is that it is a communist sport, run by communists and used as mind control. Second..."

 

Rome: "Wait right there!. . . I always thought American's didn't like soccer because it sucks and its boring, but I'll go with communist mind control..."

I'm guessing you're under 30...any mature person wouldn't listen to that show. The guy has no talent what so ever. I bet you watch cartoons on sat. morning too.
