This happens way too much to this team on short yardage run plays. 2. Letting the Jets drive for a FG at the end of the game when you know they will be running the ball. 3. Continuing to give up big plays on defense on slants and quick passes. 4. Hesitating or running into the backs of your blockers on kick-offs. 5. Losing at home to a division rival after losing on the road to another. They looked flat today.

Dick Jaroon and Fuel have zero imagination so we are an easy team to gameplan. Were is Joe Dufek, I think he was wearing #5 today

He'll gamble from time to time, but it's generally not a good one. The defense was supposed to be better. Fewell has done nothing but run the same defenses at opponents and get vicitimized in the short passing game. That, and the well documented lack of a pass rush. The offense is plain vanilla. Short passes, and an inability to capitalize on opponent's weaknesses. Against Miami it was not running the ball versus a poor run defense. Today, it was the lack of running the ball. That's not a trend, that's a long term problem. Since the beginning of 2007, that team can't run the ball consisntently, even when their opponent is bad defensively. Through it all there is DJ. Accepting no responsibility and basically doing what got him fired in Chicago. He's just made to look good because he's gone 7-9 with less talent for two seasons. He's got some players now, and he still is bad.
bills44 Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 I'll add a few more: 1. Continually burning TOs, and foolishly wasting replay challenges; 2. Inability/refusal to manufacture QB pressure via the blitz; 3. Missed tackle after missed tackle; 4. Inability/refusal to adjust defensively, mid-game

Then we saw the Bills get the first down on the next play on a great route run by Roscoe Parrish. The Bills had momentum to really demoralise the Jets, instead Edwards throws the INT and the Jets get the TD. That play was a huge differencemaker today.

The Bills had a golden opportunity to make Mangini look like the idiot he is. Mangini gave the Bills a second chance to get a first down by accepting a penalty that made it 3rd & 16 for the Bills. Then we saw the Bills get the first down on the next play on a great route run by Roscoe Parrish. The Bills had momentum to really demoralise the Jets, instead Edwards throws the INT and the Jets get the TD. That play was a huge differencemaker today. You're dead on. If the Bills go in for a TD on that drive, the game has a totally different complexion, probably ending with a Bills win. It just didn't happen and Mangina was taken off of the hook.
