marauderswr80 Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 How the hell does Revis get that ball.....position or not he's 6'6 out leap the guy and take it away from him
youngunz Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 How the hell does Revis get that ball.....position or not he's 6'6 out leap the guy and take it away from him When the ball is thrown 5 yards short. Why not put some air under the ball and take advantage of the 6'6" frame
deep2evans Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 def cannot put that on Hardy. Desperation throw.
marauderswr80 Posted November 2, 2008 Author Posted November 2, 2008 If that ball is anywhere near him he has to come down with it......simple! Watch the play again
youngunz Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 If that ball is anywhere near him he has to come down with it......simple! Watch the play again Ok...Despite the underthrow just knock revis out the way and catch the ball. Yeah that works. Better yet, tell revis not to blanket our wr's so they can catch the ball.
Fan in Chicago Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 If that ball is anywhere near him he has to come down with it......simple! Watch the play again Not true. Ball was underthrown and he had little chance to make the grab given the tight coverage. Cannot blame the receiver on this INT
nodnarb Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 How the hell does Revis get that ball.....position or not he's 6'6 out leap the guy and take it away from him The ball was underthrown. That's why it wasn't a TD. Way too many long-developing plays today and not enough quick passes. The Bills were out-blocked and out-schemed today.
marauderswr80 Posted November 2, 2008 Author Posted November 2, 2008 take the offensive pass penalty, shove him outta the way........
shrader Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 Someone remind Trent Edwards that James Hardy is 6'6.
Tcali Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 take the offensive pass penalty, shove him outta the way........ so true--thats the least he coulda done.. what a friggin wimp---just what we need on this team. If he had good football skills he woulda seen where the ball was going and adjusted. A really good receiver somehow comes up with that ball. A good receiver at least knocks it away or interferes
YOOOOOO Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 The ball needs to be thrown to the back of the endzone..... That play was on Edwards.... not Hardy
truth on hold Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 ball was underthrown That won't help Trent get the "arm is too weak" monkey off his back
GripnRip Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 How the hell does Revis get that ball.....position or not he's 6'6 out leap the guy and take it away from him You've made it pretty clear with your posts today you know very little about how NFL football is played. Could you do all the young readers a favor and stop creating threads until you've educated yourself? He can't "out leap" the guy and take it from him if it is under-thrown. There is no receiver in the NFL that comes down with that ball without a tremendous amount of luck.
BillnutinHouston Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 How does anyone seriously blame that on Hardy?
Beerball Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 How the hell does Revis get that ball.....position or not he's 6'6 out leap the guy and take it away from him ball was very poorly thrown.
Beerball Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 def cannot put that on Hardy. Desperation Terrible throw. Yes, it was desperation time, but a decent throw=TD.

Heels20X6 Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 true---but a WR with good vision and instincts sees that the ball is underthrown and adjusts toknock it away or at least mug the defender so he doesnt get the intercept So why put a rookie receiver who the coaches have identified as "not ready" in a situation where he has to make a play like that? If you make that play call, it's all on Trent to throw the ball deep enough for Hardy to make a play or straight out of bounds otherwise. It was a bad throw by Trent. PLAIN AND SIMPLE.
