ACor58 Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 Great book - better than Davinci Code IMO. Tom Hanks was a terrible choice to play Langdon.
Pete Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 Great book - better than Davinci Code IMO. Tom Hanks was a terrible choice to play Langdon. I agree. Angels and Demons blew away Davinci Code IMO. I didn't like the ending though
DrDawkinstein Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 agreed that A&D was better than DaVinci and that Hanks was not a good choice for Langdon. but im not sure im looking forward to this movie either way.
K-Gun10 Posted October 30, 2008 Author Posted October 30, 2008 Who would have been a better choice to play Langden?
ACor58 Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 Who would have been a better choice to play Langden? It sounds weird, but I pictured Clooney when I was reading the books. I also pictured Gabrielle Byrne (from The Usual Suspects) as the Camerlengo. I am sure that Ewen MacGregor will be great though.
Philly McButterpants Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 Great book - better than Davinci Code IMO. Tom Hanks was a terrible choice to play Langdon. I agree on both points . . . I liked A&D more than the DaVinci Code . . and Hanks is a terrible choice as Langdon . . .

Good teaser, I have'nt read the books, but most people have told me that A&D was the superior book to DaVinci Code. A few of you have said that Tom Hanks was not the right choice for Langdon, you have to remember that Hanks is a bankable actor which is a big reason why he was probably chosen.
