This is a bad situation for the former Bengals star, and a player I always respected, despite the fact that I hate the Bengals. The picture of his knee may be a little much for those with sensitive stomachs. Williams is only 54, yet he has to use two canes to walk. He has had 18 knee surgeries, and has had problems with infections in his right knee. Both of his knees have been replaced. I look at Williams and wonder, is this where today's players are headed in 20-30 years? I remember Williams as a standout linebacker. I have problems picturing him like this now. BTW, Williams says to keep an eye on Buffalo this season: "I played against (Bills coach) Dick Jauron in the Ivy League and with him on the Bengals.
