jahnyc Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 Shaw, Adams, DB's odd comments after the game today. What is going on? I think too many people, including players and fans, bought into the view that we had the talent to challenge for the playoffs. I also think the cumulative effect of losing over the last three years combined with our poor start this year is devastating for all (players and fans). It is going to be tough to get through the rest of this season.
Guest Guest Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 My suggestion which seems to be catching on is to accept that this season is history. Fans need to keep their optimism alive by focusing on a few positives. The team needs to get their younger players playing time and look forward. Bitching about Donahoe, Mularky, Bledose, etc is doing no one any good. Probably the most optimistic thing that can happen is for Losman to come back strong from injury, McGhaee to get more playing time and Evans to become an intregal part of the passing game. That will give some things to build on for next year. At this point 5-11 should be chalked up as an accomplisment.
