I have been in games with 2 people with torn achilles. They both walked off (in pain).

Strained Achilles for Reed, doesn't sound good, probably expect him out for the season.

Recovery time is usually 2 to 10 days for a mild strain, 10 days to 6 weeks for a moderate strain, and 6 to 10 weeks for a severe strain.
