Dr. Trooth Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 Coming off a huge home win against the Bolts and now hitting the road to face the Dolphins, this game is huger than a Billy Fucillo fire sale. The Bills better not be having a hangover from the Bolts win. The o-line is banged up with Fowler and Butler nursing injuries, leaving them with just Chambers & Bell healthy reserves. It is imperitive that this running game get untracked and control the ball on offense today. Defensively without Schobel and virtually playing with two and 1/2 linebackers and zero depth after that, the Bills need to function on all eight against an offense that is ranked #11. Dolphins are a scrappy young team... very capapable of taking out any team... as witnessed by their shellacking of the Patriots in Foxboro. More importantly, this is a division game. If they lose to this team, especially after what they've accomplished, and fans wonder why the media, etc. give the Bills no respect, well... that would be why. However, a win today would go along way to legitimizing the Bills as not only a playoff contender, but a SB threat. Like I said... this game is huger than a.... come 1600... we will have an answer.
nucci Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 Seems someone says this before every game. Every game is huge and important.
BillsObserver Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 Seems someone says this before every game. Every game is huge and important. And every week there's at least one reply identical to this one. Let the man have some fun....

BillsVet Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 come 1600... we will have an answer. Probably 1615 the way CBS airs their commercials. Last year, Buffalo narrowly defeated Miami 13-10, and it seemed like some fans were upset that others weren't convinced by a 3 point win against a then winless Miami team. The Bills can show they've improved on the road by wiping out the Dolphins. Maybe then, they'll get some respect from the national media. Not that their opinions count for anything.
SwampD Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 There's only one benchmark game. It will be played on Feb. 1.
NicholasCal1 Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 every game is huge in the nfl these days. i think the bills learned something in the arizona loss. they won't look past miami. the bills have more talent than the fins. bills win
edwardslynchevans Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 So is every week going to be the new benchmark game now? The Bills are legit, everyone knows it now.
