SageAgainstTheMachine
Is it safe to say that all of Buffalo loves Dick? I'd argue that Dick is one of our favorite things.
Bleed Bills Blue
Good news, indeed. I think we'd all have to agree that with more talent and experience on the roster he doesn't seem quite as conservative as last year. Really, last year was a weird aberration with the injuries, and he held the team together well, all things considered. And, after he wins the Super Bowl this season, the front office will look like geniuses for locking him up at a good price.
Tortured Soul
Has anyone heard dollar figures on the extension? Thanks.
Bleed Bills Blue
I'd like to add that, some opinions to the contrary, Dick is a good field genital.
BillsfaninFl
Wait, is the NFL going to allow this? Shouldn't we have to interview African-American candidates just like the hoops the NFL is making the Rams do? That's interesting. Six games ago, almost everyone was saying this is a "make or break year for Jauron." I guess the verdict is "make."

BillsVet
The difference between Jauron in 06 and 07 versus 08 is players. He just has more talent to work with. I don't think that after seven years as a NFL HC that the light has turned on and he's now Vince Lombardi or Bill Parcells. If the Bills are fine with extending him, so am I. Now that Buffalo is a contender for the post-season, the expectations will rise. There won't be anymore "I hope we get to 9-7" talk. The story of this season and future campaigns will be making and succeeding in the playoffs. The coach has to be even better in the playoffs, and it's not out of the question to ask more of the HC at the critical junctures Buffalo will reach down the road. Zona
My problem with Dick continues to be his unwillingness to change or adapt his "base" offense or defense to attack a weakness. Lets talk the wildcat offense. Why wouldnt you attack the LOS when you see Brown lined up at QB? I would dare him to throw, and attack with the other 9 guys. NO FUGGIN way does that gimmick offense beat me. Dick lines up in his "base" 4-3, with the safety 15 yards downfield. I just want a more aggressive guy who will take more chances. On offense, he called 3 belly dive plays in a row after we had first and goal from the 4. With the BACKUP rb! then kick the FG. Gutless is what that is, just friggin gutless. Dick does a great job of preparing his team each week. We are motivated, and almost never come out flat. There are some things I like about him, but I fear we will never win the Superbowl with him at coach. We might, and I certainly hope we get the chance to try. He does not call the plays and our backup RB is pretty good.
Zona
The wildcat formation has not hurt us.He does not call the plays and our backup RB is pretty good. The wildcat has been good enough to prolong drives twice, allowing the dolfags to score. And Jackson is great, but Lynch is the POWER back. If you are going to try and POWER the ball up the middle, you might want to try Lynch. If you want to try Jackson up the middle, a little misdirection would have been better IMO.... Ralonzo
Schefter from NFL network just said he got a 3 year extension.... I'm good with that After today, I wish Dick would get his extension with Enzyte. Maybe that'll give him an excuse to use his testicles occasionally.
