A bit of revisionist history in an otherwise fine

Scott Pitoniak better review one particular play regarding Mitchell's performance on Sunday.

As if that wasn't enough, Mitchell also batted down a pass, pressured Rivers into an incompletion and stuffed Chargers' running back Darren Sproles on a third-and-two to force a punt.

It was a HUGE play & easily forgotten, but it was not in any way shape of form a 'stuff'. It was a hugely athletic play and one you don't expect to see a 253lb player make. That trip up and subsequent punt were every bit as big (ok, nearly so) as the int and forced fumble. Mitchell! Hope to see many more Sunday's like that from him.

Interestingly the man who instills fear in quarterbacks, running backs and receivers is motivated by fear — a fear of failure. And he's also fueled by perceived slights of previous employers. He plays with a chip on his shoulder pads the size of Arrowhead Stadium, an old haunt he can't wait to return to when the Bills play the Chiefs in Kansas City on Nov. 23.

Hope he has a 'bountiful' day against the Chiefs!

Good read
