theNose76
A heads up to all who travel in or out of Buffalo (probably most of the people on this site): http://www.southwest.com/hotfares/buffalo.html Here are the important restrictions: -Purchase must be made between October 21, 2008 and October 23, 2008 for travel October 28, 2008 through February 12, 2009. -Blackout dates apply November 20, 2008 through December 2, 2008 and December 18, 2008 through January 4, 2009. If any portion of travel falls on a blackout date the discount will not apply. Personally I am cancelling my current flight to Buffalo for MNF and booking one from southwest, even with the cancellation fee from Delta this is cheaper. Chef Jim
Thanks for the tip I usually head back to Buffalo during the winter to ski with my dad and brother. However even with the 50% discount the tickets were $250 from Orange County on Southwest. Quick check on Travelocity I found a round trip on Northwest for $201. That's actually the lowest fare I've seen in years.

Chef Jim
Look at the price of Crude, Jed! Current price of crude has very little to do with current price of airline tickets.
GoodBye
Why doesn't SOUTHwest airlines go to Atlanta?? It's one of the major airports and it's in the south.

Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) - Fee imposed by an airport on enplaning passengers. When departing from or connecting at any of the following airports, that airport's PFC will apply in addition to the fare.

I almost pulled the trigger on the same thing (from JAX, though). $60 RT plus fees. May do it tomorrow. I want to make sure I don't have to scalp a Monday Night ticket...that might be one of the few games when the cheap seat isn't so cheap.
