As blasphemous as it may be, im gonna have to go with Tom Brady. Neither of them have the strongest arms in the world but both are very intelligent players, they both stay calm in the pocket, and most importantly-they both come in, in the clutch being able to lead scoring drives when it matters the most.

Edwards is able to do it all without cheating though which makes him even better

.

He's cut from the same cloth as Montana, Brady and Aikman. He's not going to be a gunslinger and dazzle you that way, but he's a surgeon out there who can pick a defense apart with his accuracy and intelligence. Moreover, he's too poised to get rattled by any situation. Most importantly, he's a winner.

I'd have to agree with the Montana choice. Very decisive, quick release, very accurate! What will make Tent even better is if the bills O-line can open some bigger holes for #'s 23 & 22. A stronger running game would also allow Trent to not need to win games in the 4th qtr.

Playing keep away with the ground game has always been my favorite part of an offense. The Bills did an awesome job against the chargers when they needed to in the 4th qtr. It made me smile ear to ear to watch Philip Rivers and the highest scoring offense stand on the sidelines looking helpless as the bills ran out the clock.

Bart Starr? Bob Griese? Just throwing those out there. They are QBs who were smart, and knew how to manage, and win, games. Both were accurate, but didn't have cannons for arms.

..and both had great teams around them that probably could have won with Bobo the Clown under center. Trent doesn't have a great team around him, he has a young, good and getting better team. And as much as some might rave about DJ, he isn't exactly at the level of Lombardi and/or Shula.
