I've never seen the injury described in detail but I guess it was bad given he was cut by Pats and couldn't make Texans roster. But if he's doing better why not give him a shot? I know he's a little big and lumbering for our cover-2 system (he's more of the Pats OLD/DE hybrid kind of player like McGinnist, Thomas and Vrabel), but still he's a quality LB with a knack for making big plays. While we need passrush help for sure, I don't see us adding someone who can't play special teams and can't contribute in multiple phases of the defense. Highly doubtful.
