His crime constituesa maximum of 10 years in prison, but now it looks like all he will be receiving is a 3 game suspension from the NFL. Yet another athlete not having to face justice. Imagine if you got caught doing coke and your punishment was not having to go to work for 3 weeks. Ridiculous. DrDawkinstein Posted October 21, 2008 Share Posted October 21, 2008 there are plenty of first time offenders who get off easy. and he is going into treatment, a resolution to these "crimes" which people have been fighting for (as opposed to sending drug users to jail where they just learn how to kill and steal for drugs). im sure he's paying a hefty fine in there somewhere too. being a white, first time offender with a good background, i would expect the same type of punishment if my crime was "being witnessed cutting a line".
