buckeyemike Posted October 21, 2008 Share Posted October 21, 2008 Passed away at age 73. He suffered from either dementia or Alzheimer's, probably brought on in part by his football career. Anyone who saw his HOF induction last year knows he was not well. IIRC, he had to fight for pension benefits and health care coverage from the NFL once he started to get sick.
