SageAgainstTheMachine Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 In other words, let's say you are an Obama supporter like me. Would you endure 4 years (perhaps 8) of McCain if it meant a Superbowl for the Bills? And obviously vice versa for McCain supporters. This isn't meant to be a political debate even though I'm confident it will turn into one, I just am very interested in seeing what priorities are here. I know I'm going with my Bills.
Virgil Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 I'm sorry, but are you kidding me here? If the Bills won the superbowl, I don't care who the president is. He could dis-band the NFL for all I care. He could annex us to Canada and you wouldn't get the smile off my face.

Football is just a game and this poll shows you don't have your priorities set in life regardless of who you're voting for. My God and my family come before any pleasures in life.
JujuFish Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 Considering I don't support either presidential nominee, this choice is easy.
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted October 21, 2008 Author Posted October 21, 2008 Considering I don't support either presidential nominee, this choice is easy. Exactly.

My God and my family come before any pleasures in life. Well, to be fair the poll doesn't ask you to choose between the Bills and the well being of your religion/family
JStranger76 Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 Same as the last two posters but at the same time, let's vote McCCain in and pay 10 bucks a gallon for gas.

SwampD Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 If the Bills win the Superbowl, I know that huge cracks will appear in the earth's surface and giant flaming boulders will fall from the sky so it won't matter who the president is anyway.
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted October 21, 2008 Author Posted October 21, 2008 Exactly. And I realize that's hypocritical given that I called myself an Obama supporter, but I merely think he's the lesser of two evils, not a good presidential candidate. I wanted Bill Richardson.

My God and my family come before any pleasures in life. If you find either of the candidates worthy of your adamant support, your opinion of my priorities means nothing to me.

My God and my family come before any pleasures in life. And by the way, I do have my priorities set. They are just apparently not the same as yours and it's not your place to tell me I should have them set differently. To each man his own right?
DaGimp Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 I'd get more out of the Bills winning than anything any of those reject "Presidential Candidates" will do for me
Cornerville Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 I really do feel any Bills fan who voted for rather seeing their guy winning the figurehead position of this country, and since both parties are loaded with $ and do not give a rat's ass about you and me, really needs to have their head examined.

I think you need to have your cynical head examined.
ricojes Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 If my candidate won the election, I would be happy, but I'm not 100% sure if my candidate will be the best president. I am however 100% sure that Bills Super Bowl victory would make me extremely happy for the rest of my life. Easy choice, GO BILLS!!!!
jwolf02 Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 It's sad, but the Bills by far. Although I support Obama, even if McCain won, once either one gets to Washington nothing is going to change. But even if it would, I would take four years of beans and rice if it meant the Bills won the Superbowl.

murra Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 I took this poll as saying, would I be able to sacrifice Obama being the president, if the Bills won the Superbowl. Logically, I selected that I would prefer for my candidate to win. While I really do not support McCain, I certainly do not support socialism and I would gladly sacrifice the Bills never winning the Superbowl for America to maintain and preserve its constitutional claim to democracy.
