Frez Posted October 24, 2004 Posted October 24, 2004 Willis is the starting RB in Buffalo. I have no doubt in my mind he is the better RB for our team! Willis is the man
JayFromDC Posted October 24, 2004 Posted October 24, 2004 Yeah I can agree with that I mean he had a better Debut than OJ and Thurman last week with his 111 on 26, you can't overlook those types of statistics
34-78-83 Posted October 24, 2004 Posted October 24, 2004 He showed a lot today given the situation. His break away from Ray Lewis was eye-opening. Still needs to improve in pass Protect and catching but is no worse than TH in those areas. I still think we have 2 good rb's but Willis is slowly but surely going to take the majority of snaps.
Rico Posted October 24, 2004 Posted October 24, 2004 Absolutely. TH did nothing all day, Willis made some plays & I think MM & TC know the deal, too. TH was on the bench most of the 2nd half, & he didn't look hurt. GO WILLIS!!!
njsue Posted October 24, 2004 Posted October 24, 2004 How about the offensive line. ITS HORRIBLE. HAS BEEN HORRIBLE FOR YEARS. Now thats realistic.
Thailog80 Posted October 24, 2004 Posted October 24, 2004 Reed can't be counted on. Yeah Wizzilis is the man.
Ray Posted October 24, 2004 Posted October 24, 2004 The McGahee draft pick looks better and better--TH is a good second back you'll need at some time due to injuries. WM is the starter just look at the results the past two games
BillsFanLevy Posted October 24, 2004 Posted October 24, 2004 Remember 2 years ago when everyone ripped me for saying Willis is the future and my line...I'll take my props now l l l l \/
CosmicBills Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 How about the offensive line. ITS HORRIBLE. HAS BEEN HORRIBLE FOR YEARS. Now thats realistic. 83540 The funny thing is the line looks a whole heck of a lot better with Willis running behind it than Travis. Maybe the line will look better with JP behind it than Drew. Travis is great, but his days as the starting RB in Buffalo are over. He knows it. The coaches know it. And now the fans do. Willis is just a spark plug. The only thing he did wrong today was give up on that interception return. That was painful to see. But he'll learn.

But you have a point. Who cares, as long as we get something for him, I'll be happy.
Mark Vader Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 You can count me in. McGahee has shown me enough that he should be starting. Did anyone else make this face when he broke free of Ray Lewis' grasp?
Guest Guest Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 Willis should be starting as well as any other backup who needs to show his stuff for next year and beyond.
JAMIEBUF12 Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 willis is our starter and the epic drew saga is coming to a close!

He runs right where the play is supposed to go, and if that hole isn't there he just bowls right into the mass of humanity and hopes for the best. Willis will get to the hole, see that there's nothing there, and bounce it inside or outside and pick up a few yards. The Oline isn't doing the job, but like you said, one RB makes 'em look better than the other.

Now thats realistic. 83540 not to be rude- but if i made a post about the latest firing on the apprentice, would you attribute it to the poor showing of the bills offensive line?
