BenchBledsoe Posted October 24, 2004 Posted October 24, 2004 This is totally gross, and sickens me beyond belief. . . but after 6 games played, this season is over. How pathetic is it right now to be a Bills fan? I'm more than disgusted with the way this team has been for 4 LONG years now. They are treading in quicksand, and for every one step forward, there are many steps back. So, after 6 short weeks, we already need to "look forward" to the offseason. Hypothetically, if I were owner of the Bills I'd do the following this offseason: 1) Cut Bledsoe and annoint JP the 2005 starter. . . it CANNOT be any worse 2) Trade Travis for as much as I could get, whether it be picks and/or players. 3) Move Mike Williams to guard, if he fails there, then let his contract run out (or cut him if it helps salary cap wise) 4) Sign 2 or 3 veteran O-lineman in free agency (we'll have extra cash because no 1st rounder) 5) Sign or draft a kicker (Lindell's kickoffs are a joke. . . 15-20 yard line!) 6) Sign or draft the best pass rusher(s) possible. 7) Cut Coy Wire 8) Sign Pat Williams 9) Cut Sam Adams and start Ron Edwards 10) quit the rotation of Reed and Evans and let Lee play full time. 11) And if another option at GM is really there, then yes. . . fire Donahoe What else/different would you do?
BenchBledsoe Posted October 24, 2004 Author Posted October 24, 2004 A brand new O-line would be nice. 83295[/snapback] Well, I mentioned move MW to guard and sign 2-3 vet O-lineman. That is pretty much a new O-line.
Fan in San Diego Posted October 24, 2004 Posted October 24, 2004 I agree with everything except a couple of things 1) Start JP Losman right away. 2) Keep Sam Adams.

He needs to get some experience. I just meant in the offseason, cut Bledsoe and make sure everybody knows it's "JP's team" as they say. And actually, Sam is getting outplayed by Ron Edwards lately.
