USMCBillsFan
Not sure if it's just Japan but I've been having a lot of problems with it lately. It constantly tells me my password is wrong and makes me reset it and then many times after that it deletes all my inbox and folders. Very frustrating. It constantly tells me my password is wrong and makes me reset it and then many times after that it deletes all my inbox and folders. Very frustrating. I've had it randomly ask me for my password a few times in one session, and I keep getting this weird error message that says "your previous session ended unexpectedly, do you want to restore your previous tabs and messages?" Yahoo says they have no idea why I'm getting that.

The Dean
My biggest pet peeve with my Yahoo account is, it makes me enter a CAPTCHA code (often unreadable) to send mail, more and more often. It is their attempt to reduce spam sent from their accounts. The funny thing is, it usually happens when I am replying to one single email address. These days, everything Yahoo tinkers with, they screw up. They have no sense of what is important to users, IMO.
Bmwolf21
1. Try changing browers2. Clear all cache and cookies 3. Check system time Ah, pretty close to what Yahoo said. We were looking for: DISABLE INTERNET BROWSER ADD-ONS/PLUG-INS CLEAR YOUR COOKIES & CACHE TEMPORARILY DISABLE ANTIVIRUS/ANTISPY/FIREWALL PRODUCTS But we have some lovely parting gifts for you. Thanks for being on the show. Seriously, though - I am pretty sure it was a cache/cookies problem or an incompatibility with a Firefox extension problem, because I was not having the same issues with IE7. But as I told the Yahoo tech specialist - I'm not going through 30+ extensions one-by-one to figure out which one is screwing things up. It's easier to just use IE7 until the problem corrects itself. Of course now I've probably just jinxed myself.
BillsWatch
Ah, pretty close to what Yahoo said. We were looking for: DISABLE INTERNET BROWSER ADD-ONS/PLUG-INS Missed the addins. Well you could look at dates and determine what was added since problem started but if switching to IE works for you, you have a stronger stomach than I. GoodBye
Yahoo seems to be working fine today. Maybe I'm just having computer issues...or it's Firefox. It seems to be acting weird too.

Well you could look at dates and determine what was added since problem started but if switching to IE works for you, you have a stronger stomach than I. None of the extensions have been added recently, so it would probably have to be an update I'd be looking for. I'm trying to use the Yahoo! Mail beta in Firefox for now to see if the problem comes back. So far so good...
Bmwolf21
These days, everything Yahoo tinkers with, they screw up. They have no sense of what is important to users, IMO. The new Yahoo Mail Beta was supposed to be an Outlook-like interface, featuring the drag-and-drop messages, and that's how it was. Today I noticed that I can no longer drag an open message tab into another folder. That was a nice feature, so why tinker with it? EDIT: Maybe it was a temporary bug, because now it's working again. I'm sure tomorrow something else will be broken.
