SageAgainstTheMachine Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 So I just saw a commercial for AC/DC's newest album Black Ice, and apparently they've made it available only at WalMart. I wonder how much money the band members got for striking this little deal. In their own words "C'mon, c'mon love me for the money. C'mon c'mon let me hear the money talk." Sell outs. And artists wonder why people illegally download.
The Dean Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 Are you suggesting that AC/DC is, just now, selling out?
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted October 19, 2008 Author Posted October 19, 2008 Are you suggesting that AC/DC is, just now, selling out? No, but any time that you combine the phrases *insert band here* and "exclusively at WalMart" you may be talking about the biggest sell out of all time.
PromoTheRobot Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 And you know there aren't any naughty words on the record, thanks to the Wal-Mart thought police. PTR
/dev/null Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 AC/DC is a sell out. They sell out every concert
the_franchise Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 I thought ac/dc was keeping it white trashy by only selling it at Walmart. When you buy "Black Ice" they should throw in some Natty Ice and a Wrestling Shirt, sales would triple easy.
The Dean Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 AC/DC is a sell out. They sell out every concert Most sell-outs do.

The Dean Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 All musicians Rock Stars have two driving forces: 1) Getting laid. 2) Making money. Fixed it.
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted October 20, 2008 Author Posted October 20, 2008 Fixed it. You said it brother
USMCBillsFan Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 BFD! If you want the album, go to fricken Wal Mart and buy it. Who cares if it's exclusively sold through them? I'd do that too if it were going to put more paper in the bank. People are too damn sensitive.
