auburnbillsbacker Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 For the last several years it has appeared the Patrots were the best organization football. They seemed to draft well, pick up the right free agents, and had great coaching. This year however, they have looked very avarage. Was this franchise just lucky to stumble on Brady in the 6th, or are they really a top flight organization?
drnykterstein Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Neither. But they were the best cheaters in the league. So I'll give them that. Now that defense radios are in use, they will be average or worse from now on.

Now that defense radios are in use, they will be average or worse from now on. Right on. Everything the Patriots* have accomplished since Bellicheat arrived is colored by them being caught cheating. Maybe it helped them a lot, maybe it didn't. But its the same with steroids. You can't prove how much steroids helped players to perform. Only that the player was seeking an unfair advantage. The asterisk stays. PTR
bills44 Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 I believe that the Pats** were leaning towards taking Tim Rattay, instead of Brady. They wound up taking Brady because they liked his size.
MattM Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Even when Brady's back next year, I think that team is no better than 9-7 or 10-6, if that. Too many geezers and their recent drafts have left a ton to be desired.....
