blzrul
So much for "every vote counts" huh? Well do you think that the GOP lawsuit forcing the elections board to verify registrations should ONLY apply to Democrats? duh
scribo
The take away from this has nothing to do with who Joe the Plumber actually is. The thing to note here is how Obama responded to this guy. Obama said he wants to spread other people's wealth around. During the debate, McCain said he never talked to or met this Joe in question.
PastaJoe
Bob the Builder has just endorsed McCain/Palin. Barney the Dinosaur is withholding his endorsement until Palin clarifies allegations that she accused dinosaurs of eating humans.
pBills
You have no answer for your candidate's plan to socialize America, soooooo KILL THE PLUMBER!!! KILL THE PLUMBER!!!! Nice. But for the record, it is actually Joe the Scab. Please get it right before you attempt to pick him off your skin. And the other candidate has no answer on anything, so it's Obama's a terrorists. There's some straight talk for ya. Joe was full of BS. Bottomline.
IDBillzFan
Just a question. When did you start your business and how long ago did you start making good money. I suspect you have to qualify what defines "good money," but based on current discussions, if it is defined as "over $250K," I can tell you I started it about five years ago with my own cash investment of $65,000. I didn't take a paycheck for the first eight months, though the company had a net profit of $860 in that same period. It wasn't until the end of the second year that the company paid back my initial investment, and it wasn't until this past fiscal/calendar year that I hit what would be considered, in this discussion, "good money." But you have to remember that my income is not just defined as my paycheck, but also my company's net profit.

Joe was full of BS. Bottomline. Ummmm...the plumber didn't embarrass McCain. He embarrassed Obama. Obama is the one who can't answer the question to the liking of most Americans, and instead of discussing that, we're looking into the plumber. But again, in typical liberal fashion, when you don't have an answer, you point at someone else with your "pay no attention to the man behind the curtain" way of discussing things. On the other hand, I am hearing reports now that while it is absolutely true the plumber's name is mispelled on his registration and he can not vote, new reports show ACORN has taken the correct spelling of his name and has registered him 137 times this morning. Chef Jim
You worked for your money and it's yours to do with what you will. But it's small-minded and petty of you to criticize others who don't mind sharing their good fortune. If you ever do need help you'd best pray that you're not surrounded by people who think like you. I'd love to be surrounded by people like me if I ever need help. I spend 50-60 hours a week helping people. Teaching them how to help themselves. How to protect themselves against catastrophe. How to prepare for their futures. If more people followed my adivice we would not need as much government handouts. Sure I get paid for what I do, very well as a matter of fact. And where did I criticize people for sharing their good fortunes? I'm criticizing people who are saying I don't do enough and that I need to do more. I have a problem with that. Oh and I was just busting on you regarding the freudian slip thing. I know you're crazy but you're not insane......at least I think you're not anyway. I'm not being snarky or sarcastic here when I say that I have seen posts from you for years about your small business and always thought that they were great, and your attitude about it was great, and your plea for everyone to do what they want, and love, and work for themselves was great. And still do.

We ave been working with a FA for over 10 years now ( wish someone had suggested this to us 25 years ago when we started working etc ) we are getting together next week to discuss options around moving money to advantage us in the current times and ensure our future plans of retirement in 5 years. I appreciate that. But how come you didn't have my back in this tread? Seriously though good luck with your retirement that is just around the corner. During times like these is when we earn our keep especially when retirement is so soon. I've had many older clients tell me they wish they had met me 25 years ago. I tell them maybe they did and didn't know it. But then I just filled their stomach for a few hours now I fill their life forever.....god that's !@#$ing corny. S corp is probably the best but that's tough when your business takes off like yours has this year. All profits need to be paid out and taxed at Obama's "super rich lucky you elite bastard" bracket. And when your tub get's clogged with those $100 bills, does your gated community have it's own plumber or do you get a day pass for a non-union scab to snake your drains?
