But what you have to do is work and get better on the practice field and take it into the game. “He’s got the ability. But deep inside yourself you’ve got to want to end up getting it done. You’ve got to end up doing it on the field.”

lets_go_bills Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 Quote from article: "and a half-eaten Kit Kat."
Tsaikotic Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 my guess is he lands on IR yea the article mentioned he had a bad disc in his back...did anyone on the Bills know this?
Fingon Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 His back might be the reason he is a non-factor this year. It's not like hes overweight for a tackle.
robkmil Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 that sucks--now we cut him for nothing at the end of the year.
The Dean Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 I think failing a physical, with a fuc#ed-up disk, just MIGHT explain his lack of production. Dontcha think?
Steely Dan Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 Quote from article: "and a half-eaten Kit Kat." I noticed that too! I think this is a joke because I don't see anything about this anywhere else. It might be true but I'll wait for someone else to verify it.

Steely Dan Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 ESPN confirms it. Not the half eaten Kit Kat though. I think that's ridiculous anyway. I heard it was an expired coupon for a free Kit Kat.

It might be true but I'll wait for someone else to verify it. It is a rumour mill, but PFT is usually pretty good. But yeah, I'll wait for something more definitive before I discuss. I actually hope it's true because I wasn't ready to give up on McCargo and a 4th is poor compensation for a guy we invested a 6th in. He showed flashes, with some work and polish he can thrive. Besides, if the bad disc in his back thing is true, it could explain a lot.
SKOOBY Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 He's probably been hiding this for a while, fire our medical staff.

This blog entry from Tim Graham suggests that McCargo's return might not be welcomed- http://myespn.go.com/blogs/afceast/0-4-96/....html?post=true If McCargo has motivation issues, this is the final straw- either an attempted trade motivates him or he crawls into his shell, never to return.

Fingon Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 Back in the old days, players used to make all pro with two torn achillies tendons. McCargo is just a big puss.
NEEDFREDJACKSONNOW Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 He's probably been hiding this for a while, fire our medical staff. WTF? How could the Bills' medical staff miss this!!! Someone's going to get a talking-to at the x-ray machine.....
