AlbanyBill Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Buffalo has the very best tailgaters for sure!
WellDressed Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Team quality 19??? who in that god damn pisshole came up with that??
lets_go_bills Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 What the hell is wrong with our atmosphere? I love it there. It's the atmosphere that is my favourite thing about going. Sundays at the Ralph are my absolute favourite thing to do.
WellDressed Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Denver & Wale Dada .5% What is a Wale Dada??
WellDressed Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Tailgating #1 is as it should be. Dude, at least spell the name of the person you quoted right. He played DB???
BillsNYC Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 6% of tailgaters in Buffalo spend less than an hour tailgating before the game, the only single digit % in that category. Which means 94% of Bills fans spend over an hour tailgating, the most in the NFL.
WellDressed Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 From the article, probably why our atmosphere is so low : "I saw snowballs (actually iceballs) being hurled relentlessly at two fans wearing Detroit Lions parkas sitting in the end zone. The only respite these unfortunate fans got was when a Lions player was near the end zone." "The first game I ever attended was a Monday Night Football matchup: 1993 Houston Oilers at Buffalo Bills. A nice man and his pre-teen aged son were wearing their Warren Moon jerseys. The kid was so excited and some big drunk Bills fans harassed them unforgivingly, even throwing stuff at the kid as he walked to a Port-a-Potty." "A Miami fan came and didn't get pelted with beer until the fourth quarter. That was really disappointing." "The worst thing I ever saw in Ralph C. Wilson Stadium is O.J. Simpson's name on the "Wall Of Fame.""
SwampD Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 I find the most telling thing in that article was that the Ralph was second among stadiums of other teams fan's behind only Lambeau. If we love it and others love it, then how is the atmosphere only 15?
WellDressed Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Seattle atmosphere: "Once there was a guy mocking Chargers star Shawne Merriman with a giant poster of a bloody needle."
KD in CA Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Atmosphere a 15??? Going to a Bills game feels like being on a college campus for a huge Saturday game -- it's a GREAT atmosphere. Meanwhile they have the Colts at 3?? Why, because of a shiny new dome? Lame.
SF Bills Fan Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 The "Atmosphere" ranking in Buffalo should be way higher. That is one major plus for Buffalo. I've been to Seattle- great stadium architecturally, not too much atmosphere. Why are the Jags so high? I guess atmosphere goes up when you can stretch your legs out on the empty seat in front of you. What's with all these wacky lists lately?
Chilly Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Any list that has the TEXANS atmosphere above BUFFALO has no credibility. I've been to both stadiums. Houston's is dead, absolutely dead.

Beerball Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Seattle atmosphere: "Once there was a guy mocking Chargers star Shawne Merriman with a giant poster of a bloody needle." I told cablebabe that was a bad idea!
Beerball Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Team quality 19??? who in that god damn pisshole came up with that?? I think he asked the little people.
PistolPeaTear Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 I think he asked the little people. or ate them

LabattBlue Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 I've been to several other NFL stadiums and the fan behavior towards opposing fans is nowhere near the level of RWS. In addition, nowhere did I see the numbers of "out of their mind" drunks that is seen at RWS. From what I have seen and read, I think the "atmosphere ranking" in terms of treatment of opposing fans seems fair. PS That being said, I have not been to Philly or some of the other notorious venues for opposing fans to enter.
