K-Gun10
Chargers almost landed RB Michael Bush By Chris Brown - Posted October 15th, 2008 With Darren Sproles currently nicked up and set to become a free agent after this season, the San Diego Chargers almost pulled off a trade that would have landed them Raiders RB Michael Bush. According to the San Diego Union-Tribune the deal was pretty much in place with the Chargers surrending a second-day pick for the Raiders 3rd RB, but Oakland pulled out just before the 4pm deadline. Bush certainly would have made the Chargers even more interesting and beefed up a running game that only now is starting to hit its stride. Bush only average 3.9 per carry against the Bills in Week 3, but he certainly has potential and the Raiders may eventually move him in the offseason with Justin Fargas back healthy.
