buckeyemike
Today was a very nice day weather-wise...it's still in the 70s outside with a beautiful sunset. That said, there doesn't seem to be much hope here in C-town tonight. The Giants are here, and still feel like they have something to prove. The Browns? Well, when you're Soulja tight end could have a serious problem down low, your QB has been flat out awful, your RB has been fighting injuries, your OL suddenly forgot how to block and your superstar WR has a bad case of the dropsies, a Monday night exposure at home on national TV couldn't have come at a worse time. Cleveland can pull it all together tonight. But the chances of that are slim...and Slim's getting out of town for this one. Giants, 35-10.

Or at least cover the spread of +7.5. Home dogs cover the spread on monday night football at a 72% clip over the last 3 years. I got $100 saying they keep this one close. It was beautifull here today too. Just got done playing wiffle ball with the little guy outside. It is still in the low 70s here too.

KD in CA
This is great....ACLS (and another Boston loss) as a warm up to MNF. Think I'll crack another beer. Come on Browns, time to give the Mighty Quinn a shot!

The problem with that thinking is that someone has to account for the 28% when the home dogs don't cover. I'm giving the 7.5, and was ready to give more than that before the spread went down. Giants in a massacre. Derek Anderson gets benched. Time for the Brady Quinn to get baptized.
drnykterstein
Did you not watch any games yesterday? So called "upsets" happen all of the time in the NFL. It's why we watch.

Actually, this game(and line) was and is similar to the Bills-Dallas game last yeat. A big MNF game, at home with the home team getting 8.5 points. Don't quit your day job. The Dean
This supports my point that a sense of gloom, before a game, is GOOD. No woofing, no media hype. Know that your team has to play its best possible game, or they are likely to lose.
KD in CA
Wow...didn't count on 2006 Eli showing up. Those last two trips to the red zone were some of the worst managed 4Q drives I've seen all year.

lets_go_bills
"Any given Sunday" rang true here, huh? This crazy league. The Giants were supposed to spank the Browns, instead the opposite happened. Wow.
lets_go_bills
The league's worst offense destroyed the NFC's best defence. It doesn't even make sense.
