Tcali Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 It was offsides when the Cowboys spiked the ball, not on the pass to Witten. nice chokerrooo Cards....well played//.....there is still hope though
HereComesTheReignAgain Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 So apparently if a player is injured you can run up to the line and snap the ball for an automatic 5 yard penalty!
Tcali Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 I hope this happens to every coach who makes that chicken-sh*t timeout call. they gotta outlaw that bull sh--
The Dean Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 Cards coach is retarded. He'd fit in nicely, here, then.
PistolPeaTear Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 is anyone else as sick as me of seeing wade phillips jump up and down after getting bailed out of poor coachign by strokes of luck?
Kelso_Helmet Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 ...and a big cheer goes up among fantasy football players like myself, who, with no other rooting interest in this game, can get some bonus points... Hip...hip....hoooooray..... go Romo and go Edge!!!!
Steely Dan Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 How the hell didn't the chickens hold them back at their 27???? Aye Yi Yi. I say the chickens pull it out in OT.
Offside Number 76 Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 they gotta outlaw that bull sh-- They can't. A coach might have a legit reason to call that timeout--for example, he realizes right before the snap that 12 men are on the field. The only hope is that enough coaches get punished for this bs tactic the way Whisenhunt just did.
The Dean Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 they gotta outlaw that bull sh-- Why? A team can call time out right before the snap of ANY play. Are you suggesting there should be some special protection for kickers, because their psyche might be shaken? IMO, THAT would be chickens#it.
BillsWatch Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 So apparently if a player is injured you can run up to the line and snap the ball for an automatic 5 yard penalty! Yes in final two minutes. It is to prevent the infamous Cowboy/Giant "injuries" on defense to slow down hurry up offenses. Missed offsides was on spilke. Teams have choice of using timeout or be penalized.
Offside Number 76 Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 So apparently if a player is injured you can run up to the line and snap the ball for an automatic 5 yard penalty! Refs didn't see the injured player in time. If they had, the right move would have been to blow the whistle (hurting Arizona), and--I think--charging Arizona with a TO, right?
BillsWatch Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 Cardinals win by special teams. How surprising. Two NFL East teams lose this weekend.
PistolPeaTear Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 the question now, will TO cry at the podium?
bills44 Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 A Wade Phillips-coached team with a Special Teams snafu to end the game. Sound familiar?
The Dean Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 Its not gonna be pretty You are off the hook, fortunately. Keep that in mind, next time.
