"Team medical personnel believe the abnormality is unrelated to the concussion Looker sustained against the Buffalo Bills on Sept. 28." It also says: "He said doctors believe the spot that showed up on the CAT scan has been there for some time" The hit may save his life because it brought to light an otherwise undiagnosed medical issue. He went to have it checked out the next day because it still hurt. Doctor said the pain would go away in a day or two but then noticed an unrelated tumor on his other testicle. If not for the canonball it may have gone undiagnosed until it was too late. That was 4 years ago and he has been 100% fine since the cancer was removed. He went to have it checked out the next day because it still hurt. Doctor said the pain would go away in a day or two but then noticed an unrelated tumor on his other testicle. If not for the canonball it may have gone undiagnosed until it was too late. That was 4 years ago and he has been 100% fine since the cancer was removed. As it ages, it will be isodense (same density as normal brain tissue) and then later look like an empty hole (hypodensity). It's not likely they found anything earth shaking here, but just an old sports injury. Baby Joe probably has a ton of hypodensities on his brain CT.
