Drew026 Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 I come on here for the first time since the loss yesterday and I swear to god all these threads make it feel like we just lost 12 games in a row. For a fan base that has been through some bad years you'd think we'd never loss a game before. This team spoiled us with a 4-0 start and now one loss and everyone throws a ****. No one here liked what they saw yesterday, but there is no reason to go and treat the players and organization like we're Detroit. It's ok to criticize where we were bad but honestly, for 4 weeks we've been praising how good the defense has played and how well our staff has made adjustments and now you 1 loss and everyone acts like this has been going on all year. What a joke.
thebug Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 It's the Senator's fault. He told us they were going to go 19-0. GO BILLS!
The Dean Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 It's the Senator's fault. He told us they were going to go 19-0. GO BILLS! Exactly! Sing it from every thread. It's The Senator's fault!
Beerball Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Funny thing is some folks (we'll call them level headed) tried to express opinions about the offensive line, or d line or the coaching or you pick it. Those folks were quickly shot down as negative nancys (by a crowd we'll call "Positively Giddys"). We're 4-0, quit yer whining etc. etc. etc. Funny thing is that those "Positively Giddys" are now the "Chicken Littles".
marauderswr80 Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Yeah never knew being 4-1 was such a disaster! Everyone forgets that the Cardinals are not the same team they once were. They are actually a VERY good football team!

ricojes Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Yeah never knew being 4-1 was such a disaster! Everyone forgets that the Cardinals are not the same team they once were. They are actually a VERY good football team! 4-1 at the break is awesome. There were many here who predicted 0-5 or 1-4, so I am extremely happy with their record. The way they got beat is the disturbing part, even though the Cards are a very good team at home. TE's injury was huge, with Trent the Bills have longer drives and eat up more clock. Because let's face it, the only way the Bills were going to win that game was to keep the Cards offense off the field as long as possible. The D was poorly prepared for that game. But the good news is that it was a loss to an NFC team and they have a bye week to shake it off and prepare for a very beatable SD team and most importantly get Trent healthy. I believe we go 2-0 against the NFC the rest of the season. GO BILLS!!!
Jerry Jabber Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Every team lays an egg or two during the season. Even our beloved teams of the 90's laid an egg during their time. I'm glad this loss will linger on them for 2 weeks, maybe we'll see a fired up Bills team vs the Chargers.
apuszczalowski Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Some people are over reacting looking for huge changes after only one loss. It may have only been one loss, and its not the fact that they lost, or that the season over because of it. Its the way they lost. They looked horrible all game, and were embarrassed after finaling looking like they could be a very good team. They came out and played very bad against a team that looked horrible the previous 2 weeks. This Cardinals team is good, but they looked bad over the last 2 weeks, and then Buffalo made them looked great in that game. You don't get respect, or get to be considered great if you can't beat the good teams. They struggled against 2 bad teams (Oakland and St. Louis, and actually made St. louis look better then they really are), beat a great team that struggled to start the season (Jags) and the only game that they actually had full control of was the opener against a team that most thought was going to be good because of the previous years team, yet now we are finding out they are not good at all. This team has flaws, like all teams, but this last game highlighted them with some big neon signs and it was an embarrassment. Thats why people are overreacting. It would be different had they atleast looked like they gave 100% and just lost the game at the end.
Sisyphean Bills Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Even the Jim Kelly led Bills had some awful games. Of course, those Bills would've crushed a team like the Rams by the end of the 1st quarter...
