gmac17
How do they account for people who only have cell phones? A lot of young people / college students etc who are probably leaning heavily towards obama probably don't have land lines.... just curious how they account for this since I've never received a poll on my cell phone.... Chilly
Depends on the poll. Some pollsters have started polling for those on cell phones, some weight the results to account for that difference, and some don't do anything. As you could guess, there is a huge difference there. I would caution against thinking young people are going to seriously influence the election. However, the possibility is certainly there. If you'd like to read up on the issue, I'd recommend the following pew article: http://pewresearch.org/pubs/964/cell-phone...-vote-an-update
PearlHowardman
I've never received a polling question on my land line. Most pollsters do call people on cell phones these days.
